Thunder Bay Golf Resort -- Thunder Bay
Review by: Norman Jensen I have been golfing this course for 30 or 40 years and it has continually improved from a rough 9 hole course to a quite nice 18 hole course. The front nine is considerably more open and easier than the last nine with the exception of the ninth whole which is a narrow dogleg to the left and, in my opinion, the most interesting hole. Your tee shot must be straight and just the right length to have a good approach shot. The course has both open and tight holes plus water. It is flat to rolling.

Somerset Golf Club -- great 9 holes
Review by: G Moran Opened to the nearby public in 2005 as it fights declining single and golfer residents. It's a great par three course with 3 par 4's that the savvy golfer can easily birdie. Quick rounds feature a delightful little course that weaves between apartments that were at one time part of the largest apartment complex in the United States. Well kept and tidy, money has been put into the greens in recent years that have made them very puttable. If in the area it is highly recommended you check it out.
