Long Cove Club -- *Outstanding Course*

Rupp	We played Long Cove Club a few days after playing Harbour Town, (the week of March 21st 2004) and frankly it blows away where the Heritage MCI is played, and Harbour Town is a great course. After Pine Valley and Pebble Beach I would argue in favor of placing this Dye masterpiece next in line. The tee boxes through the greens were immaculate. Tremendous golf experience, beautiful course, and while it's strictly a private course, you can do what I did, find a member that will allow you to play it. Then buy a lot at Long Cove Club after the round. It is simply one of the finest golf courses in the world. It is a must play for any serious golfer in their lifetime. I'd rank it 10 stars if I could!

Review by: sandman	outstanding course. definitely play the calibogue tees when you go. amazingly quiet thanks to the very expensive memberships. very lucky to get in as a guest. under new mgmt and very old school in terms of the way it is run. a lot of forced carries, but playing from the blue tees as a 15, i did not find it unfair at all. not to be missed if you get an invite

if you have ever golfed in this area you relize that there are 2 types of courses. private corses which are nice but... private and then courses that are a bit run down. well cross creek is the exception it may be young(few trees still coming up) but its lots of fun and well maintained with a good staff and a great time for new or more seasend golfers alike

Moffett Field Golf Club
"Moffett review"
I once belonged to a local golf club that played Moffett once a year. We had 3-4 handicap golfers who said this was one of the hardest courses they had played. It may look easy but it can get you in a lot of bogey troubles. This course is mainly for a golfer who draws the ball. Lots of right to left shots.
