I enjoy the course. It is a young course and the trees are not grown, so play is relatively easy with wide fairways and closely mowed rough. Several water hazards (#3,#4,and#6) if you tend to slice the drives. No 1 has a creek about 280 yards from the middle tee. You cross back over the creek on # 9. Greens are ok with some slight undulations which can be trickey. The 9th hole is uphill which is a hard walk after playing 8 holes.
The owners are adding another 9 holes which will be playable in the summer of 2005. Course description is based on the old layout as far as the signature hole is concerned.
The fellows working the pro shop are friendly and helpful.
In the Summer, the Men's Club plays every Tuesday with Tee times around 0900 and 1300. |
