Stone Oak Country Club

Stone Oak Country Club -- A beautiful midwest course worth playing
Review by: theclarkman This course looks timid on paper but watch out on the front nine. A couple of par 5's can really fool you by their degree of difficulty and a snowman is not uncommon on #6. The course is usually in immaculate shape with more hills on the back 9 that you would expect. The shortest par 3 I've ever played, #16 can be tricky even with the softest loft wedge. Overall this coursees beauty is in the top 10 in northwest ohio, and it is great fun to play given that you can find a member to take you out and enjoy it.

Heatherwood Golf Club -- Straighten up and fly right!
Review by: Andrew Tully Heatherwood is a well kept course, but mid-spring to late fall hit the ball straight. With a thick rough and some well positioned watering holes, the course can claim balls and strokes in a hurry. Some holes (par 3's mainly) resemble an xtreme mogul course for you skiers out there. So don't hit it short. Overall, Heaterwood is a fun course with a little attitude.
