Deer Creek Golf Club -- Excellent golf course for a low price
Review by: Anonymous This golf course was high quality for a low price. Narrow fairways and deep bunkers make for an awesome challenge. All grass was in great shape, with the exception of some small weeds on one or two greens. Great overall course.

Triple "A" Golf & Tennis Club -- not as easy as it looks
Review by: John Olsen Triple A Club's golf course LOOKS easy - especially if you're simply looking at a scorecard and noting yardages. It's not. Though it is certainly a SHORT course, it's challenging for several reasons. Greens. They're small, and they're not flat. The slope on some (notably, #1 and #9) is downright mean. Fairways. Uphill, downhill, and sidehill lies are common. Distance. Wait a minute! It's a SHORT course, right? How could DISTANCE be a factor in it's being HARD? Well, it might be more appropriate to call this the "fakeout factor". Golfers new to Triple A are often tempted to use the driver on all the par 4 holes. Sometimes (especially, on #2 and #4, but also #5 and #6) this can leave you with an awkward "between clubs" shot or lying on the front side of a hill. Hole Number Nine. If you haven't played this hole previously, it often comes as a nasty surprise. It's a sharp dogleg left, with the outbound fairway sloping steeply to the right (into the #8 fairway). Then, the inbound leg is straight uphill to a green sloping steeply to your right. It's a challenge, this hole. The alternate greens and tee boxes provide, almost, a feeling of playing 18 different holes. On some holes, the difference wrought by the alternate tee box is just more distance. On #3 and #8, there are not only alternate tee boxes, but alternate greens, and those holes play VERY differently on the back nine. All in all, it's a nice, and surprisingly challenging, little course.
