Norwood Golf Club -- Small town friendly!
Review by: Hambone If it only had a CLUB HOUSE & BAR ... If this same course had a nice clubhouse and bar you would think you were at a 5 star course. Skip the club house and save $$$. The greens are very challenging for intermediate players. The rolling front nine criss-crosses through a natural setting. The back nine let's you let out a little stick as it winds through a housing development, wide enough to let you "spray" them a little. Lance, the owner ... is friendly and available and that gives it the home town touch. The bunkers need a little work and the ruff should be higher, but it keeps the play moving.

Fort Wayne Lodge No. 155 & Golf Course -- The greens are worth the visit
Review by: J Reiling This is an Elk's Lodge golf course and as such would certainly be easy to overlook, but that would be a mistake. I have lived in the area a long time and never played the course until a local tournament ended up there. While it is for the most part a straight forward course with not a lot of trouble, an errant driver for the day can make it an unpleasant experience as the course can play long and these are not greens you want to be trying to get up and down on all day. The greens alone, however, are worth the trip as they are the truest greens in the area in my opinion. They are quick but fair and will reward a good short game while severely punishing a poor one. One piece of advice is to bring your driver and hit it...often.
