Featured Golf Course Review:
| Norwood Golf Club -- Small town friendly! |
| Review by: Hambone |
If it only had a CLUB HOUSE & BAR ...
If this same course had a nice clubhouse and bar you would think you were at a 5 star course. Skip the club house and save $$$. The greens are very challenging for intermediate players. The rolling front nine criss-crosses through a natural setting. The back nine let's you let out a little stick as it winds through a housing development, wide enough to let you "spray" them a little. Lance, the owner ... is friendly and available and that gives it the home town touch. The bunkers need a little work and the ruff should be higher, but it keeps the play moving. |

| Griffith Golf Center -- IDEAL FOR BEGINNERS |
| Review by: David Curatolo |
This par 3 course is about half the size of most 18 hole courses. Average distance to the green is 150 yds. There are several sand-traps and a couple of water hazzards. For beginners and
others who have yet to master the game this course provides 2653 yards of moderately challanging fun and it won't take you too long to complete a round. The fees are reasonable (less than $ 30 w/cart). The facilities are accomidating with a bar and food available. There are batting cages, mini-golf and other fun activities for the entire family. |
