Being that I work at the Lafayette Country, now the Country club of Syracuse, I have not gotten the chance to play golf, but I have taken leasons from the pro. He had a decent idea of what he was doing, and overall the course seems as if it is well kept. This is definitaly one of the better golf courses in the area. |

This course starts with the hardest starting hole in the Rochester area. Dogleg par 5 with Genesee River on the left the entire way. Second hole is a tough par 4 with bunkers in front of the green. Water comes into play on 5 holes. Greens and fairway are normally in great condition. It's a 9 holer, but for a good challenge at a nice price, you can't beat Riverton. I now live in AZ and refuse to pay what they want for a round out here. |
