Ridges Golf & Country Club, The -- Challenging Yet Very Fair
Review by: R. Myers Great setting, awesome course, pleasant staff...I just can't say enough. What a great club in Northeast Tennessee. The course has generous landing areas but stray far off of them and you'll be lucky to find your ball. Once on the putting surface the bar is raised to another level. I think this is the true reason they call it "The Ridges". If you get a chance to play this course, play it! You will not be disappointed.

Brown Acres Golf Course -- Noisy but Nice
Review by: John McGirk Brown Acres is surrounded by planes, trains and auotomobiles. The fairways and greens are large and lush. It has a wide open design, but a healthy variety of water, sand and woods along with its length make it a challenge. The bermuda roughs get thick in the mid summer and they keep them long. The course has come a long way since the late eighties, but suffered lately in the landscaping area. Great wildlife on this course also. Number 7 and 13 earn their handicaps.
