Great setting, awesome course, pleasant staff...I just can't say enough. What a great club in Northeast Tennessee. The course has generous landing areas but stray far off of them and you'll be lucky to find your ball. Once on the putting surface the bar is raised to another level. I think this is the true reason they call it "The Ridges".
If you get a chance to play this course, play it! You will not be disappointed. |

While being a relatively short course, the average golfer is challenged by the various type of shots you have to be able to perform to get around this course. From the high flying cut shot into elevated greens to the low punch required to combat the wind on all but one of the par 5's Cherokee Springs is a great course to equip golfers in a wide array of shots. Greens are always in good shape and the ability to walk a nice round still exists here. |
