This course is primarily used by the locals. I think I am one of the few tourists that kwows about and plays this course. Every time I visit Oahu I play this course almost every day--and believe me the rates are very reasonable--$ 10 for 9 holes walking--no riding carts allowed or available. If you don't want to carry your
golf bag you can rent a pull cart for $4.
As to the golf course I really enjoy it, it is a great golf course and the locals are very friendly. And, the views are also great--on 4 of the holes you have a close view of the sand beach and ocean and on 1 or 2 other holes you can see some views of the ocean. It is just an enjoyable course to play. |

Making several trips a year to the Hawaiian Islands, I have had the opportunity to play several top $$$$$ courses and find that Mamala Bay is my favorite. The Staff treat you as if you just paid $470 at Pebble Beach. Beautiful scenery, awesome greens, fairways, and sandtraps. I just wish more people could play this GEM! |
