I grew up playing this course (and the championship side) and always found the Cameron to be quite challenging. Hole number for is a 251 yard par 4 that is guarded by sand traps on each side. It's quite a challenge to make par on that hole. This hard hole is made up by the 8th which is a short par 4 (330 yards maybe!). |

In all the golf I've played I have never played a course that is as hard as this course. There are very few holes in which you can hit the driver (not that this is a bad thing) and there are many dog legs. You have to think your way around this course if you are going to have a decent round. |

I played this course for the first time in August of 2003. What a joy it was to play here. As long as you keep your ball in the fairway you will do well on this course. When I say it's like a links course I mean it. Outside of the fair way you will find tall grass and rolling hills that eat golf balls like water! |
