Kimball Golf Club

Featured Golf Course Review:
Kimball Golf Club -- Kimball Colf Club, Kimball, MN
Review by: TEEbo The Kimball Golf Club is another club in outstate Minnesota that should be put on your list to play. The course is very hilly with tree lined fairways on many of the holes. The greens are medium to large sized and do not give away to many putts. I believe number nine drops into a ravine like approach to the green which is very surprising when you get there. A challenging hole for any golfer. I played the course in the fall and it was gorgeous as the trees were turning and it made the fairways even more picturesque. Pricing is very attractive as ranges in the 20-40 dollar class depending if you walk the course or not. If you walk be sure you are in good shape, it is hilly. The clubhouse is on the small side but the staff are very friendly and extremely helpful.

Castle Highlands Golf Course -- been there a lot
Review by: Anonymous originally a 9 hole with the 2nd nine added some years ago. the "new" 9 in the front, original course is the back. the front is good. the "back" is not so good with the exception of #10, #13, #18. the front is much more interesting and weaves through the MN forest. you will lose and find many balls. the course is generally in very good shape. there are big changes underway for 2004 with the "old" nine being reinvented and I am anxious to play the new layout. it should improve the course immensely. has a short order restuarant and lounge, pro-shop and driving range.
