This is one of the hidden gems in Southern California. I live in the Palm Springs area and yet I travel the sixty miles to play this course on a fairly regular basis.
The low green fees tell the tale about the course condition. It is not the awesomely green, delicately manicured track you get here in the desert, but the natural beauty and interesting design make it much more fun than the bulldozed beasts you see around here. Playing from the black tees will give the vast majority of players all the challenge they will want. You'll use about every club in your bag and scratch your head when you bogey that hole that looks so easy to birdie.
If you ever travel to the Hemet area, give this course a go, you won't regret it. |
