I played this course last weekend for the first time, and it was unreal. The weather was perfect and the course was in impecable shape. It's difficult but not impossible. If you stray too far off the fairways you end up in knee high grass where you pretty much won't find your ball. There are a number of holes on the ocean, reminds you of Pebble. It wasn't windy when we played, but apparently the wind usually blows hard there, which would make it a lot harder. All in all I was VERY impressed. The price was a little steep ($140 weekend green fee) but worth it. I'll play there again when I'm in Santa Barbara next. |
