Just got back from Maui and was lucky enough to play this course. Tee off after 2pm for a huge break on the green fees, you can easily get all 18 in and finish with a spectacular sunset. The wind is a big factor here and several hazards/bunkers and OB areas make this a challenging experience for even the best golfers. But the most exciting part of this course has to be the views of Lanai and Molokai in the distance - simply Awesome! |

Actually they have the name wrong here ... this is not part of Ka'anapali but part of the Kapalua Resort, along with the Bay and Village courses. Gorgeous setting ... the views truly distract from your game! The Mercedes Championships are held here in January ... remember the extra-hole battle between Tiger and Ernie Els? Tough course for a mediocre player like me but Kapalua is a wonderful place to vacation. |
