Lancaster Country Club -- *Worst round to one shot*
Review by: Brad Budreau	My round started off good, then turned VERY bad, then the shot of a life time. Mainly because of the challenging course, and some bad play. A very hilly course and real nice greens that run true. My day was salvaged on 18 with a HOLE IN ONE. Not many courses end on a par three, but this was just what I needed to keep a smile on my face. Al in all it was a good course.

North Shore Country Club
"Great Bay Side Holes, and Tough"
Play this in the wind and you'll find your handicap is a little too low. Northshore is a wonderful course with great bay views on the 4 bayside holes. And Don't miss the gator on hole 12, the cormorants on number 3, or all the other birds during the migratory months. In winter the rye overseed makes Northshore one of the best courses in all of South Texas.

Quarry, The
"Golf Heaven"
This wonderful Tom Fazio design offers a truly great experience. It can only be played with a member. Don't worry about a starting time or slow play, the members are rare. I've been told that if you can find a weed in any fairway, they will give you a membership! ($175,000/player plus dues) Every hole has it's own personality and most (10) involve water. A desert design that requires accuracy off the tee, and a back nine into an old quarry up in the mountains, the course is very challenging, but has incredible views of Indio (All putts break that way.) Chances are that you won't get the opportunity to play this track, but if you do, don't miss it!

FREINDLY SERVICE WITH A REFRESHIMENT CART THAT RUNS ON THE COURSE FOR NEEDED DRINKS.
