Errant tee shots spell bogey+.Large mature trees and thick rough. Difficult greens.I would go back in a minute

Review by: Nick Lanciano	Course is alright if you're 80 years old and can't hit a golf ball longer than 50 yards otherwise all you need is your pitching wedge and a putter, hell you might be able to use your putter off the tee.

Lancaster Host Golf Resort -- *It's best years are behind it...*
Review by: BGA_Tour	It's best years are behind it, unfortunately. The layout is great, but the condition is mediocre at best. Being that it is part of a run-down resort that had it's hey-day in 1972, one shouldn't expect more. The fairways were extremely hard and cut to different lengths & the bunkers were rough. The potential is here, but the will to keep it updated is not.

Goose Creek Golf Club
"Great course for the aveage golfer"
This is a first rate facility for any golfer. A great putting green and practice area. The course is an intersting yet very playable for the average golfer and a challange from the tips for the better player. Good tee shots are a must. You can get into trouble with an errant tee shot on some of the holes. The greens are interesting. Some are multi layered and were in great condition the last time I played there.

"The Golf Club"
True test of golf that will require a player to hit every club and shot in the bag. In order to score well plan on driving the ball in the fairway and keeping the approach shot below the hole. The greens have very settle breaks and are best read from behind the hole. The caddie master who calls himself "Gunner" is a throwback to another time, a huge drinker who needs to learn to keep it between the lines.

Turquoise Valley Golf Course & RV Park
"Hidden Gem"
One of the best golf values I have seen. #1 hole is the worst hole on the course, with a ridiculous left to right sloping green that is impossible to hold. Make bogey here and you have a chance for a good round. After that, the architect did a good job of squeezing 8 holes into the available terrain. The real ambience of this course starts with #11, a long carry over a wash to a par 3. #10 is a drivable par 4 that could be improved a bit by narrowing the fairway to make it a bit more risky to go for the green. The rest of the back 9 is very well done, except for # 18, which is a pretty lame par 4. And then there is THE RATTLER, a very good par 6. Long hitters can get there in 3, setting up an eagle putt. But the 3rd is mostly carry over water. Overall one of the best courses I have played, especially for the money.
