Featured Golf Course Review:
| Emerald River Golf Course -- October 19, 2004 | ||
| Review by: Carl | This course had been recently overseeded and was just reopened. It was a bit windy, but not enough to hinder play. Lots of barranca and sand, but really enjoyable to play. If you aren't a target golfer, bring a good supply of balls. It helps to play with someone familiar with the course, due to several blind holes. Great challenge, but really fun. | |

Golf Courses: Additional Golf Course Reviews:
| Mojave Resort Golf Club -- Wide Open (mostly) | ||
| Review by: Bob | This course is, for the most part, wide open for the average golfer. The undulations of the fairway and placement of sand traps makes shot making somewhat critical. The pro shop offers a course book for $5 or so - BUY IT - especially if you're going to play again in the area. The wind in the afternoon makes "less than straight" shots a little tense, but, all in all a fun course. | |
