Sunrise Country Club -- Friendly and Playable
Review by: rcf Sunrise CC is a very playable course that makes for an enjoyable golf outing with friends For the most part, there are no surprises on this course. Most of the par four and par five holes offer generous fairways and have very little rough. The par three’s are the course’s worst feature. They are uninspired. Most of the holes have some bunkers around the greens, but these are not particularly difficult to negotiate. There is some water in play to catch the occasional stray shot on a few holes, but not enough to call it menacing at any time. At just under 6700 yards from the gold tees, the course defends itself with length. Even from the blue tees (6362), some of the holes seem quite long, especially in the blustery Florida winds. The course lies down from the white tees that play under 6000 yards. The facilities at Sunrise CC are comfortable, but not luxurious. The staff is very friendly, and the cost for a round of golf is very reasonable.
