Lakeside Country Club

Featured Golf Course Review:
Lakeside Country Club -- lakeside
Review by: Casey Kaufman First of all, let me say that the staff is very nice. The clubhouse is aptly stocked and the refreshments are affordable. The course is an old links layout with hard, sloping fairways and lined with pine trees. Some of the fairways are quite narrow and being in the correct location is critical and oftentimes difficult. I think that the course actually plays a little more difficult than the slope indicates--but of course, our group plays the course as a par 68. Most of the holes are rather short but pin placements can present problems if you're not careful. The greens are bent grass and roll as true as you'll find anywhere. Overall it's a fun and challenging course that's worth trying.

Berkeley Country Club -- BCC Review
Review by: Jeremy Hamilton Emploee BCC This course is a wide open, with few really challenging obsticals. Most holes have no sharp dog legs, or hard-to hit greens. Currently the course is really dry due to the drought, so consequently the greens are very hard. This course is very enjoyable to play, and is in a rural setting, resulting in a peaceful atmosphere. The second best thing about the course is the staff. The staff is only the best and most qualified for the jobs. The pro-shop is fully stocked with the finest in golf equipment and apperal. The pro-shop also does all club repairs, and alterations. The club also offers a bar and grill. Here you can order something to eat and drink, and relax and watch a game, on our 20 inch color television. Hope you find this helpful.
