Lakeside Country Club -- lakeside
Review by: Casey Kaufman First of all, let me say that the staff is very nice. The clubhouse is aptly stocked and the refreshments are affordable. The course is an old links layout with hard, sloping fairways and lined with pine trees. Some of the fairways are quite narrow and being in the correct location is critical and oftentimes difficult. I think that the course actually plays a little more difficult than the slope indicates--but of course, our group plays the course as a par 68. Most of the holes are rather short but pin placements can present problems if you're not careful. The greens are bent grass and roll as true as you'll find anywhere. Overall it's a fun and challenging course that's worth trying.

Brookstone Meadows Golf Course -- better places to play in anderson than this place
Review by: ping golfer the lay out of the course is not bad...but, most of the tee boxes are not level..the fairways and rough are both pretty dead, seems to be a lot of dirt spots...and the greens are not cut consistantly even. you may have a 20 foot putt that will roll threw 2 or maybe 3 different lenghts of grass before the ball gets to the hole...i say if you are going to spend your money to play golf head a few extra minutes down the road to cobbs glen (anderson) or the walker course (clemson)
