Northwood Country Club -- Nice course
Review by: Anonymous Very nice golf course. Tee shots are very important because it has fairly tight fairways. They changed their greens earlier this year and it has made a major difference.

Goshen Plantation Golf Club -- A Real Find!
Review by: Tim O'Connor The first thing we found impressive was the service. Carts arrived before we had switched off our engine; Brian checked us in and out with a smile, while the owner Spike Kelly revealed his Irishness with a genuine welcome and tales of a recent visit to the emerald isle. A hot snack was ordered, served and consumed, all within three minutes, a record. Bill, the starter, loves the place so much that he lives on it, in one of the beautiful homes alongside the 10th. The pace was annoyingly slow when we played, but all the better to enjoy the sunshine and appreciate the configuration and beauty of the course. It really is a fine lay-out, generously wide for the high handicapper, cunningly trapped for the low player and terrific greens which can be either cruel or kind depending on the disposition of the pin-placer. (He might have been having a nervous breakdown the day we played!). The signature hole (the short 4th)is certainly as good as any par three anywhere, while the elevated greens make the par fours real tests. We gave this one 3 stars only because it is going through a remodelling and because the recent drought has slowed the healing process. We'll be back in Augusta for the Masters next year to award the remaining two stars that Goshen deserves. Tim O'Connor Captain Druids Glen Golf Club, Wicklow Ireland.
