Much improved course from just a year ago. The new staff were friendly and the play challenging. Well worth your money to enjoy the wonderful location and golf.

This is a course that is really trying to do best by their customers. The personnel are friendly, the clubhouse has a very good basic restaurant and there is a definite attempt to keep the course in decent shape. Wet weather seems to make the tee boxes bare and washes out the sandtraps, but recently these have been repaired. The placement of some of the hazzards make a few carrys tough for shorter hitters and some handicapped players may find it difficult to manage the hummocks getting to and from a few of the fairways when the cart path only rule is in effect. However, recent redesign has made the 18th hole more reasonable to play. It is a fun layout and a definite bargain when compared to some of the high end daily fee courses in the general area. |

I played Somerset on April 26 for the first time since you reopened. This course has improved one hundred percent. The greens are some of the best I've putted on anywhere. The fairways, tee boxes, and even the rough are maintained exceptionally well. I could not believe that I was playing on the same course I played two years ago. Your maintenance crew is to be commended for a job well done. |
