Emerald Valley Country Club -- not bad...
Review by: Drew This is a course I am extremely familiar with. I live close by and have spent many a nice day getting 9 in. It provides a decent value as far as greens fees, and the challenge factor is definitely there. Watch out for the water and the tricky tee shot on #5. All in all, I like it because of its convenience and that it provides me a good setting to refine and practice my game.

Castle Shannon Golf Course -- A course to respect.
Review by: Gary Posey Castle Shannon is a great Golf Course, one of the finest layouts I have ever played in my 49 years of playing Golf. It requires a high skill level to break 80. You must stay in the fairway and keep the ball on level ground. The course plays long, much more then the 6896 the card shows. The biggest requirement is ball position on the greens. You must be below the hole or the chance of three or even four putting is quite high. Beside being a fun course, the scenery is just beautiful. The third hole called "The Gauntlet" is as pretty a hole as I have every played. From the top of the hill it looks to be 750 yards instead of 583. You will really enjoy this course and want to play again. I certainly cannot wait to play this course again.
