Los Alamos Golf Course -- Great challenge for your game
Review by: Michael McCloskey This course is a challenging course for the average player up to the scratch professionals. The fairways are tight and lined with sparse pine trees. The course is an old style course, which means it has incredibly small greens. The greens are probably to most true rolling greens in the state of New Mexico due to being so old. The course is short and very opportune for low scores. I really enjoyed playing this course and the people around the club. They treat you well and the rates are EXTREMELY cheap for such a quality course. I suggest taking the trip up to Los Alamos to have a great round of golf and also to enjoy the sights of the Jemez Mountains.

Pinon Hills Golf Course -- Why Boulders when there is Pinon HIlls
Review by: Keith All know The Boulders Resort at Carefree AZ north of Scottsdale. The S Course there is rated the best and greatest and cost way over $125 per round as listed. Well Farmington's Pinon Hills is just like The Boulders and I rate it as the absolute best value for money I have ever played. They even apologized that the fee had gon up 50cts when I played (for $14.50) some years ago. You can keep Scottsdale and Phoenix courses when there are so many, so good and so cheap in NM. Also not far from Durango (trains and Rockies) nor from Mesa Verde ("we have no TV or telephone but we do have a 100mile view") A truly great corner of the world to be in golfers bliss!!
