Old South Country Club -- Excellent
Review by: Brian From the quirky severe dogleg par 5 #1 to island green par 4 #4, to numbers 9 and 10 (arguably two of the finest par 4's in the region), the course is a treat. Although yardage markers are few and far between and local knowledge is key, the front nine plays open and the back is pretty tight. #16 is noteworthy because even at about 120 yards it is severely downhill with a pot bunker 10 feet deep on the left. #17 is a 420 yard dogleg left requiring a long drive over or beside left side bunkers and an approach through a tube of trees on either side. Good luck but what a hidden gem this course is!

Worthington Manor Golf Club -- Not the best course in the area, but close
Review by: John Slocum I found Worthington Manor to be a great test of golf from the back tees. Accuracy off the tee is not a requirement but is helpful if you want a good set up for your second shot. You will certainley use all the clubs in you bag. The par 3's from the tips are most demanding. Course knowledge is a must. Bring all you putting skills. When these greens are fast and hard...watch out! 3 putts are common. #12 to a back left pin position is one of the great par 4's in the state.
