Old South Country Club -- Excellent
Review by: Brian From the quirky severe dogleg par 5 #1 to island green par 4 #4, to numbers 9 and 10 (arguably two of the finest par 4's in the region), the course is a treat. Although yardage markers are few and far between and local knowledge is key, the front nine plays open and the back is pretty tight. #16 is noteworthy because even at about 120 yards it is severely downhill with a pot bunker 10 feet deep on the left. #17 is a 420 yard dogleg left requiring a long drive over or beside left side bunkers and an approach through a tube of trees on either side. Good luck but what a hidden gem this course is!

Argyle Country Club -- Good Course But Play is Slow
Review by: Friend Yes, this is a little hidden gem. But like most found treasures there is a little flaw. Slow Play! Gosh, sometimes this course can slow down to a crawl.
