| Homestead Golf & Country Club -- X-OUTS LOVE HOMESTEAD | ||
| Review by: Art Aldrich | My golf group, the Boeing Employees Golf Association T. Berry X-OUTS League, has had the pleasure of visiting Homestead Farms in mid-August for the past six years for a 54 hole tournament competed by about 20 golfers over three days. Homestead makes the reservations for three days of play and we always play our final round at the Homestead course. For the third consecutive year we will also play Semi-ah-moo and Loomis Trail, certainly ranked among the outstanding courses on the West Coast, as is Homestead. We are accomodated at the condominiums along the sixth fairway. They are always immaculately maintained and have everything required for a very pleasant stay. The staff at Homestead are genuinely devoted to assuring as pleasant a stay as possible for a bunch of old men (our average age is about 67). The restaurant fare is excellent and the bar fun. We will continue to come to Homestead each August as long as they can stand us!!! Art Aldrich President T. Berry X-OUTS thegolfnazi@aol.com | |

| Bear Creek Country Club -- If you can play the "Creek" you can play anywhere | ||
| Review by: A. H. Palmer | If you can get on its well worth it. The Northwest Amen corner is BC's 4,5,and 6th holes. A course where sometimes you need to take the par and run instead of shooting for birds. If you can find a straight putt or an even lie on the fairway you've lucked out. It plays longer than the card's distance and most pro's consider it a humbling 18 holes of golf.. | |
