The Madsion Country Club is located near Long Island sound in a very open and pleasnt setting. The course is always kept in wondeful condition and the greens are just magnificent. The front nine is relatively flat and open, with water coming into play on three of the holes. The back nie is a bit more of a challenge because of the more undulating topography and trees.
Little wonder why the club has a huge waitng list. |

I drive almost two hours (round trip) to play at the airways golf course. It is not only one of the nicest public courses in CT to play, but also the ticket price can't be beaten. For 22 dollars, you get 18 holes, with a cart, plus 4 dollars twards a lunch at the restaurant. You order on the 9th tee, and the food is ready for you when you finish the 9th hole. Very fair price, and beautiful course. |
