Madison Country Club -- A small and wonderful gem
Review by: Dave The Madsion Country Club is located near Long Island sound in a very open and pleasnt setting. The course is always kept in wondeful condition and the greens are just magnificent. The front nine is relatively flat and open, with water coming into play on three of the holes. The back nie is a bit more of a challenge because of the more undulating topography and trees. Little wonder why the club has a huge waitng list.

Laurel View Country Club -- Great Public Course
Review by: Andrew I played Laurel View in early October with a few friends who are single handicappers. We all had a great time. The fairways are in great shape. The greens are not overly fast, but are in really good shape and roll true. When it comes to elevation changes this course offers as much as any I've played while not presenting many blind shots. This is a beautiful course and is the best deal for a round of golf that I've found in Connecticut. If you are coming from the south don't follow the directions on the website. Consult a map, you can get right off the Merrit and be there in about five minutes.
