Chester Valley Golf Club -- My experience with CVGC
Review by: Ronald Knabb Jr. I've been a member for over 15 years but because of my profession as a golf club house architect I have had the opportunity to play many golf courses throught the northeaster US. Further I have played in pro-ams at CVGC when it was a senior tour site for 12 years. The pros agreed with me in that the course is as challanging as they have played, yet is fair and never boring. Every hole has a different character and you must play all your clubs. As a member this may sound self plauditory but all my guests also agree. CVGV is well designed, a real test for the best golfer yet fun to play and enjoyable for all men and women alike..

Valley Forge Golf Club -- The only public course
Review by: Robert Henson VFGC is what you'd expect, being the only public golf course in the area. With slow greens, and long-grassed fairways, it is perfect for the average 50 handicapped golfer. Overpopulation is a big issue. If you want to play 18 holes on a weekend, you better set aside 4-5 hours to play...with a cart. Overall, I would never go to this course, but since its the only one we've got, I'll take whats given.
