||The Richmond Country Club offers great golf in a pristine setting. There are only about 3 houses on the whole course - everything else is natural setting with a variety of trees, bushes and flowers. The front 9 winds through some beautiful rolling terrain providing elevated tees, upslopes, downslopes, doglegs and flatlands. The 6th, 7th and 8th holes are clustered around ponds that support much wild life. The 6th hole is a great par 3 across a pond, but only 114 yards for the ladies. The back 9 are in a park like setting. A creek bisects many of these holes putting a premium on shotmaking. If the shot is not blocked by trees, the rough is generally manageable. The greens are in great shape throughout, fast and feature a variety of angle to put golfers of all levels to the test. If you enjoy challenging golf in a setting away from subdivision homes, you'll love this course.
