| Goodrich Golf Course -- Well maintained course with some fun holes |

It's not Augusta and doesn't approach the drama of anything by Robert Trent Jones, but it's a well-maintained, inexpensive course that has a sensible design. Overall its a wide-open course that is pretty forgiving but isn't boring either.
I'm giving it four stars not because its a great course but because it does well what it is supposed to do - give you an economical, playable course.
If you're looking for a public course with a little more history and style, try Keller which is just a couple of miles away. |

| Deer Meadows Golf Course -- update |

The artificial greens at Deer Meadows golf course have been removed, it was replaced with Penncross Creeping Bentgrass. It was a much needed improvement and the greens were great at the end of the season of 2003. |
