Goodrich Golf Course -- Well maintained course with some fun holes
Review by: Jeff B. It's not Augusta and doesn't approach the drama of anything by Robert Trent Jones, but it's a well-maintained, inexpensive course that has a sensible design. Overall its a wide-open course that is pretty forgiving but isn't boring either. I'm giving it four stars not because its a great course but because it does well what it is supposed to do - give you an economical, playable course. If you're looking for a public course with a little more history and style, try Keller which is just a couple of miles away.

Heritage Links Golf Club -- Don't expect much the first time.
Review by: Steve P. This is a links course that is not fun to play the first time. It probably gets better with more play. Every hole features blind tee shots, blind second shots, blind approach shots. Rough is very thick cut...so combined with blind shots, expect to lose a lot of balls. Good example, hit a 4 iron on the screws directly to the green on a par four. Had to carry a marsh area...but my partner & I both felt it was an outstanding shot. Never found the ball. The ball could have been ten feet off the green, but it was just gone. To be kinder, this course needs a course layout book... Range is decent (mats)...course in late August was in excellent shape. Pace of play was good and tee time was obtained within two days of a Sunday morning. Walkable...but cart wasn't a bad idea.
