| Flamingo Lakes Country Club -- Well Maintained and Reasonably Priced | ||
| Review by: rcf | Flamingo Lakes Golf Course sits right in the middle of the Century Village retirement community in Pembroke Pines Florida. Based on the demographics of its community, the course is predictably short and lacks the type of rough and hazzards that distinguish more challenging courses. The greens roll true, but have very little slope. Notwithstanding this, Flamingo Lakes is very well maintained and defends itself with some narrow fairways, and two par three’s that call for forced carries over water. Shot placement is at a premium on many holes because the course is nestled among a number of large buildings. Finally, the cost for a round of golf is very reasonable, especially in the summer months. | |
