Sycamore Creek Country Club -- One of the best courses in Miami Valley
Review by: Matt Even though this is course is somewhat short, it is one of the most challenging courses you'll play in the Miami Valley. This course rewards accurate driving and shot-shaping approaches. Great placement of bunkers, tees and greens are engulfed by trees, and some of the quickest, true-rolling greens around (greens roll at @ 10-13 on the Stimp, depending on time of year). The $3 million renovation is only making this course better, especially the bunkers and greens surround. The renovation is bringing more water into play and revising some of the "stupid" holes once there. Once completed, this course will be compared to NCR South, which is arguably the best course in the Miami Valley. Overall, it's is a great test of golf and one of the best deals if you get the chance to play.
