Tamahka Trails -- Weekend Excursion
Review by: Kent Albarado It's the offseason now and we've just returned from 27 holes at Tamahka Trails. The rate was very reasonable, service second to none and the course ... well this old cajun boy has never played a finer course in his life and may never still. The people made us feel as though we never left our home town. They treat you with kindness and respect, catering to your every whim. Let me tell you it was one of the very best golf outings I've ever had (and plan to have again). If you would like to experience golf as it should be ... try Tamahka Trails. You won't be disappointed. And by the way ... for a course this nice the seasonal rates are good also. See you there ...

Briarwood Golf Club -- A Must Play
Review by: Bryan Smith Briarwood is a very challenging course. Its very tight due to all of the trees that align the fairways. Course is in good shape with the new ownership that took over at the beginning of the year. The rates are very fair and reasonable as well. For example, $16 all you can play with a cart after 2:00 Mon-Thurs, not to bad. If you are from out of town and want to play a beautiful and challenging course that shows Louisiana beauty with alligators and turtles, then go to Briarwood which is a must play course.
