Ocean County Golf Course at Atlantis -- Challenging but Fair
Review by: Art Cecchini As stated in the title this course is challenging but fair. Starting out on the first hole you are presented with a wide fairway and no trouble. The green is long and narrow guarded by a bunker on the right. The second hole is basically the same with the fairway being pinched by trees on the right and a bunker on the left. The first two holds allow you to warm up as the course becomes increasingly more difficult. Most all holes going forward have treelined fairways that are "Challenging but Fair". All greens are well guarded with bunkers, water or both. You'll not play any bump and runs here. Every par 3 is a challenge, and Par 5s are long and difficult to reach in two. Bring your "A" game or you will rack up some numbers. Highly recommended Bring bug spray. It is south jersey

" But you don't have to go up in the stands and play your foul balls. I do. -- Sam Snead, to Ted Williams, arguing which was more difficult, to hit a moving baseball or a stationary golf ball "
