This may not be a "championship" style course with perfect tees and fairways, but this course is fun to play. There are plenty of challenges that require thinking about placing your shot. You can't just "grip it and rip it" here.
It isn't too long, either. The average golfer has a chance to reach the par 5's in two and the par 3's are not easy.
I would have to say the favorite thing I like about this place is the people. They're your average, down-home people. They always have a smile and treat you like a friend. The rates are great and tee-times aren't hard to come by.

I started playing on the course when I was 7. Take my word for it, it is terrible. Back and forth fairways, every hole is drivable, and it will take you 5 hours. The quality of the grass is about the worst I have ever played. Every fairway seems to be laid over quicksand with air bubbles that pop up when you take a step. Sometimes the pins are missing and there are tire tracks on the greens. |
