i was fortunate enough to have my golf team use great bear as our home course. i am an Alumni of Notre Dame Jr/Sr High School. i remember our coach telling us that all the other teams wanted to play us at home so that they to would be able to experience this wonderful course. i spent 4 years playing on this course and i have learned many things. the only bad thing i can say about this course is that whenever i go to other courses they can never compare to this one. also whenever i try to play i sometimes mess up b/c the ground on those courses is hard and im used to playing on Great Bear where when u hit under the ball its like butter. i hope to be able to play more rounds at this wonderful course at every oppertunity i get |

The tee boxes are great, the greens conditions impeccable and there are plenty of challenging holes. The round moves well even when there is a full schedule. Beautiful course, all around a great experience. I make an effort to play this course although it is a distance away. |
