Peninsula Golf Club -- Compared to Other Nassau County 9 Holes Courses
Review by: Harry Q As residents of Nassau County, we have a hand full of 9 Hole courses to choose from (MERRICK, CANTIAGUE PARK, EISENHOWER PARK, LIDO GOLF CLUB). Compared to other 9 Hole courses I really enjoy playing in Peninisula Golf Club for several reasons: 1)There isn't that much of a wait to Tee Off. 2)Some holes are very challenging. 3)There is a variety of holes with several par 4's and 5's. 4)It is maintained very well. 5)I LOVE playing the Greens of Peninsula Golf Club. Overall I enjoy playing here, what bothers me is that most holes have a very narrow fairway. Every hole feels as though there on top of each other. Dont be suprise to see some one hit their ball from your fairway b/c they happend to slice the ball.

Cherry Creek Golf Links -- Totally solid course
Review by: Rich C This course is always in great shape. The young trees around the fairways have matured beautifully giving the course a very full look. Has a links type feel to it. It's pretty wide open so they keep the rough cut pretty high which really effects the distance of your second shot. And if you don't like a links type open look you can run right across the street to The Woods course which is super tight right through the forest. The absolute best place to play 36 in a day. Two opposite courses right across the street from each other.
