Indian Hills Golf Course -- A good little course
Review by: N. Nye I play Indian Hills about 20-25 times every year. Indian Hills is a good little course tucked into the hustle and bustle of the Lansing metro area. Although it is a short par 33, it is far from easy, with ample bunkers, water hazards and trees. The fairways and greens are ususally in tip-top shape. The only knocks I have on the place is the mosquitos are thick, especially from late May-July. Also, during heavy rain periods, such as May 2004, the Red Cedar River overflows its banks and makes the course unplayable. Call ahead during after heavy rains to check playability. Wear long pants and/or a long sleeved t-shirt whenever possible to combat mosquitos.
