• Tarry Brae Golf Course
  "Great Course, Great Value."
  Living in the midst of legends like grossingers and the concord monster, Tarry Brae offers an equal genre style course at a much better value. Greens usually run fast and true, and the layout is niether quirky nor tricky. A traditional layout at a reasonable price. Game on!

• Ballwin Golf Course
  "Ballwin shouldn't be ignored!"
  I play this course regularly on a ladies league. It is consistently in great shape, with very challenging greens. The greens are typically in fantastic shape--better than The Bluffs by far! The pro, Dave is knowledgable and great for lessons for both beginners and those wanting to improve. I believe the only 'problem' is for the men following the ladies on their league days--we're trying to pick up our speed. You'll enjoy the challenges of the water(there is a creek/water on 7 of the 9 holes) and sand traps.

  "Great Value"
  The course is very playable. The staff is friendly. I was surprised at how beautifully landscaped this muni course was. Kudos to the lanscapers

• Stafford Country Club
  "A Walter Travis gem"
  Walter Travis was at his best in his layout of the Stafford CC course. In his routing of the layout, he made maximum use of the rolling terrain. The course sustains the interest of golfers at all skill levels. The small greens are a challenge to hit in regulation, with the original Travis greens requiring a high degree of accuracy and a keen eye for the subtle, and not so subtle breaks. Many of the original Travis bunkers have been restored, increasing the demand for accuracy from the tee as well as shots to the green. Travis once said, "My courses always look easier than they are." Stafford has lulled many golfers into that initial perception. One never tires of trying to understand, and master its subtle and intriguing challenges.
