Great Cove was a 9 hole course when I first began playing golf in 1987. Since then it has expanded into an 18 hole course. The front 9 is wide open and can be forgiving to errant shots. However, the pine trees can provide plenty of obstruction. The back 9 is less forgiving. It introduces water holes and more dogleg holes. This course is usually in great shape and is very affordable. It will remain a favorite of mine since it is the first course I ever played. |
