Savanna Golf & Supper Club

Featured Golf Course Review:
Savanna Golf & Supper Club -- low scores
Review by: Toby Beaupre This course is not too difficult. There's a few spots where you need to be a straight hitter but for the most part it's pretty forgiving. With the exception of the 2nd hole, every hole on the course gives you a legitimate shot at a birdie. The par 5's are long - but you should be able to go into the green with a short iron on your 3rd shot. The 9th hole can be shortened by 70 yards by cutting the corner by going over the trees.

Deer Run Golf Club -- Enjoyable Track.
Review by: Steve P. Deer Run is a good example of a decent golf course that has been built in a residential community. About 35 minutes from downtown Mpls, the course is in great shape and features a lot of terrain changes. Houses aren't too close, but they are always present...not the course for you if you don't want to see houses. Driving range is so-so, small and mats. Pace of play was good...I wouldn't walk this one. Was able to get a late morning tee time on a Saturday with one days notice, through the web.
