McLean Golf Association -- Course Review
Review by: Annie Green I have played golf on this course many times and I think that it is challenging for a beginner-intermidiate player. It is easy for an everyday golfer. It is a quiet course with beautiful landscape.

Quarry Golf Club, The -- Tough Course
Review by: R. Rose This course is a bit pricy and difficult for the mid to high handicap golfer. I hit a couple of 300 yard drives....200 yards in the air then 100 yards to the bottom of a canyon. The pro shop staff were a bit "stiff" for me but the marshals that I met were down to earth and would talk to you. Carry a bunch of balls with you when you play. If the gorges don't get them the tall rough will because you really don't want to be thrashing around in there with the rattlesnakes. Next time I am in San Antonio I will probably play Pecan Valley or one of the less pricy couses.
