Meadowlark Country Club -- Best kept secret for a 9 hole course in Central Minnesota
Review by: Gary Braegelmann Nestled nicely between some prestigious 18 hole courses lies this beatiful 9 hole course that has a small town touch. Located south of Big and Little Birch Lake and in the heart of Melrose Minnestoa lies this spread of grass, water and trees I called home for many years. The course grows with character every year and has a supporting cast of members that strive to make it better each and every year. In my years of golf, I have played the best and worst tracks around, but find my comfort playing a course I grew up on and currenlty enjoy every year. Small town touch goes a long way when it comes to keeping things green and growing. Keep up the good work, it shows in both quality and beauty of the course. I would recommend this course to anyone, its a friendly course no matter what the skill level playing it.

Legacy Courses at Craguns, The - The Classic Course -- The Classic Legacy Course, Craguns, Brainerd, MN
Review by: TEEbo This course is as beautiful as you will get anywhere. The fairways look as good as some others greens. The greens are lightning fast, large and undulating. Although they claim a signature hole there are many on this course the developer should be very proud of. The course plays long and if you are a mid to high handicapper bring along an extra sleeve. Price is $100-$125 but is worth the experience. Club house is fabulous and the clubhouse food is very good as you would expect. If you're going to northern Minnesota stop and play the Classic.
