Whitetail Resort -- LONG BUT SHORT
Review by: hacker1 This course is nestled at the foot of a mountain witha few holes on the back nine going up the mountain. The course is a very long course however , unless playing from the pro tees requires a club on most of your par4's and 5's other than your driver. The par 3's are challenging with severe elevation change on #12. This bent grass course is great for the players who love to play golf course managment. If you get the oppurtunity to play this course take it.For $35 during weekdays its hard to beat for the area.

Huntingdon Country Club -- mature course, country club style
Review by: R. Lewis This is a course that has been around for years and has the feeling of the stylish country clubs of years gone by. Tall trees; well manicured greens and fairways; pretty greens set into the dense woods with tricky reads and challenging putter feel. A great value, because the course is close to the beautiful Raystown lake: great for fishing. boating and camping. Downside that keeps it from being a "5": "pee-brained locals" who collude to restrict growth that would bring the best restaurants and other first-rate attractions.
