Featured Golf Course Review:
| Willow Lake Golf Club -- Love the course |

I have played this course for several years. The layout is challenging. The course condition is consistantly good. April, May and June are exceptional. They recently added fairway water and know how to take care of the course. The greens are moderate speed and consistant. There are several blind holes and greens that make you think. The only think I don't like about the course is that the bunkers are not consistant and some don't have sand. |

| Charlie Yates Golf Course -- Well maintained and lightly used, executive cart path |
| Review by: Par 3 Hacker |
This is a little-known golf course just east of downtown Atlanta. The tees, fairways, and greens are well-maintained. Par 30 out, 28 back. The front 9 are much more interesting, with a mix of long par 3, short par 3, and par 4 holes with a 180 yard water carry. Cart path is perfect, fitness not required, but no carts on turf. The back nine is fairly boring with no water hazards, just rolling terrain and some fairway bunkers. The course is not expensive. Club house has pro shop, nice bathrooms, driving range but no putting green. Carts are well-maintained Club Cars. Front nine is great for twilight play. Overall, a really nice course for the money. Caveat: If you have a problem playing up onto small greens at the top of a long uphill hole, 7 and 9 will be challenges for you. |
