What a terrific country golf course. This course has a great deal of character and very memorable and scenic golf holes. Very nice fairways and large, soft, well-kept greens.
A real treat at twice the $21 (including cart) that we paid to play 18 holes.

This course will challenge all levels of golfers. It has long par 3's and long par 4's. For the money, you really can't beat it. My personal favorite hole is the #11 par 5. It starts with a blind tee shot over a hill. Then it doglegs right. It is very hard to cut the corner with all of the tree cover by the creek. (Yes, a creek comes into play for the long hitters.) The second shot has to be accurrate as well. The green is guarded by bunkers. Once on the green, you must contend with a slight slope. It is a very large green, so a close second shot (if it is long enough)will set up for an eagle. I must say, this course is fun and well kept, even through the fall until we submit to the weather. |
