Camelot Golf Course -- A Desert Oasis
Review by: Scott Surprisingly, it is possible to find a nice course in the middle of the desert. I consider this to be one the nicest courses in the Lancaster/Palmdale area. It is worth the short drive to play this fine course. The course is well kept and the greens are usually in very puttable condition. The green fees are very affordable. The alternate tee box and flag placements make it alright to play 18 holes, however, that is why I gave this course 4 stars. Just be sure to head out early to beat the heat. Temperatures easily break 100 degrees in the summer and watch out for the wind.

Oakmont Country Club -- Tough Day
Review by: Matt Very challenging golf course with fast greens. Every putt will have a break. Small greens make it difficult to land the ball within 20 feet of the cup. Fairways are wide open and length off the tee is necessary to have a chance at par.
