Camelot Golf Course -- A Desert Oasis
Review by: Scott Surprisingly, it is possible to find a nice course in the middle of the desert. I consider this to be one the nicest courses in the Lancaster/Palmdale area. It is worth the short drive to play this fine course. The course is well kept and the greens are usually in very puttable condition. The green fees are very affordable. The alternate tee box and flag placements make it alright to play 18 holes, however, that is why I gave this course 4 stars. Just be sure to head out early to beat the heat. Temperatures easily break 100 degrees in the summer and watch out for the wind.

Colony Country Club, The -- Short game workout
Review by: Tony This course might not be long, however it's tight fairways and short par 4's make for a serious workout for your short game. There is enough water and trees to keep you busy but still quite a number of holes where you can bring out the big gun. My favorite short golf course by far!
