Camelot Golf Course -- A Desert Oasis
Review by: Scott Surprisingly, it is possible to find a nice course in the middle of the desert. I consider this to be one the nicest courses in the Lancaster/Palmdale area. It is worth the short drive to play this fine course. The course is well kept and the greens are usually in very puttable condition. The green fees are very affordable. The alternate tee box and flag placements make it alright to play 18 holes, however, that is why I gave this course 4 stars. Just be sure to head out early to beat the heat. Temperatures easily break 100 degrees in the summer and watch out for the wind.

Rio La Paz Golf Club -- great course for the price
Review by: eddie flores I've golfed at Rio La Paz twice now, and both times were great experiences. The course was in great shape. The greens were very soft. Wonderful for the average golfer. Fees were under $30 dollars, and both times I was also given a free item with my green fee. No complaints what so ever on this course.
