Hillcrest Country Club -- Nice for Area
Review by: Ken Jacob This course is well maintained with a decent challenge. Price is a little steep but not bad for the course.

Pine Brook Golf Club -- Dewey's world of hacking
Review by: Dewey R. Tomblin June 19,2004 My friend and I went on an experience with this course this morning. We golf every weekend ,trying a new course each week, this week was no different. As much as we love the game we are not that good. As the old saying goes, "A bad day at golf is better than a good day at work." Back to the course, be careful while warming up on the practice green, because they do not act the same as the well manicured ones on the course. When you think the greens will break a lot they only go about half of what you would expect. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The course is forgiving and a challenge and it is a good course to play. You can play 18 in a little over 4 hours. The staff makes sure the pace of play keeps moving along. I would reccomend this course to any one who enjoys the game, whether they are good or like me the usual 120 shooter,or as we all know "THE HACKER".Check next Sunday for a hacker's view of Thunderbird.
