Throckmorton Country Club -- The Best Little Course in West Texas!
Review by: Anonymous This 9 hole course is the hardest little course I have ever played! If you think the Links is hard wait until you play this bad boy! The hardest hole would probably be #7. This par 5 may look easy when you step up on these elevated tee boxes but just wait until you tee off. Thats when the adventure begins. The second hardest would the #5. This par 4 dogleg right is probably the hardest par 4 on the course. Of course there are a few easy holes thrown in just so you don't lose your confidence. So if you are ever traveling through Throckmorton; be sure and stop to play "The Best Little Course in West Texas!"

Willow Springs Golf Course -- Good course, terrible service.
Review by: Bill West If you like a non-challenging course and a self-serving, mothering staff, then this is the course for you. The fact that on a Saturday afternoon there were few people on the grounds should have tipped us off. We were badgered by the marshall no less than four times for minor infractions. Fact of the matter is the pro really wanted to go home early, and therefore we were called off the course 30 minutes before closing. The course itself is not threatening and well taken care of. Few small trees, well cared for, but very, very wet after rain. Plenty of other courses to play in the area that are happier to see you walk in the door.
