| Ridgeway Golf & Country Club -- Immaculate Country Club |
| Review by: Anonymous |
Both my parents and grandparents were members at Ridgeway, so I have had plenty of experience there. The course is always in immaculate condition, and the facilities are top notch. The course itself, though not very long, can be challenging. It is an old course, with fairways lined by mature trees. There are many ups and downs, and some of the greens are diabolical. The number 16 Green, for example, drops nearly six feet from right to left. The membership is generally very friendly, and the place does not have the snobbish feel of many clubs. |

| Lake Park Golf Club - Blue/Red Course -- Lake Park Golf GERMANTOWN WI Beefy!!! |
| Review by: Dr. Awad-Bin Barrett |
The Red/Blue Course combines an interesting assortment of holes. Water, woods, blind shots; make for a challenging round! Typical "Target Golf" in a parkland setting! Leaves little room for "Creative Shots". Will not offer "half carts", which is ridiculous! RED 9: Always a wait on # 3; because most golfers cannot clear the hazard! # 7 Par 5 is interesting, but again; only one way to play it! BLUE 9: Last Hole is a double dog-leg par 5. For me, it is the worst configuration I have ever seen for a finishing hole! The First hole for the BLUE is far better! RATING: I would play it, but not every week! VALUE: Fair green fees; upkeep is better than average! Pace of play is OK! |
