True test of golf that will require a player to hit every club and shot in the bag. In order to score well plan on driving the ball in the fairway and keeping the approach shot below the hole. The greens have very settle breaks and are best read from behind the hole. The caddie master who calls himself "Gunner" is a throwback to another time, a huge drinker who needs to learn to keep it between the lines. |

I love playing this course. I caddied there in the late 70's, played high School golf there in the early eighties, and I've been a guest there for 20 plus years. The greens have always been emaculate...too bad I'm not a better putter! If I lived in Cleveland, I'd try to join the club. Although it's not a very long course, the holes are challenging. Especially number 16...an elevated/blind green with an incredible slope. Almost every hole is tight with old growth trees, sand traps, and beautiful homes throughout the golf course. I look forward to playing it at least once a year! |
